Aquatic Exercise

Aquatic exercise improves strength, flexibility, and cardio-vascular fitness. Movement in the water has the added benefit of increased resistance, you can actually work harder than you would on land, as well as a “massage” effect that moves fluid more efficiently through your body. The Arthritis Foundation has recommended aquatic exercise be included in an overall program to manage the painful symptoms of arthritis. There is even growing evidence that aquatic exercise is beneficial for post-operative breast cancer patients in controlling the symptoms of lymphedema. See Resources Page

Water Yoga

Yoga postures are adapted to the pool and learned along with proper breathing. This venue is ideal for anyone who enjoys the water and wants to experience the improved flexibility, balance and sense of well-being that yoga offers. It is especially helpful for people who have limited mobility due to conditions such as arthritis, fibromyalgia, chronic pain, or obesity.

  • Individual Aquatic Session: $65/60 minutes; $35/30 minutes
